What are Organizations?
On explorer.land, an Organization Profile acts as the administrative and public "home" for a legal entity. It is the central hub that manages and showcases a portfolio of projects.

While a "Project" represents a specific on-the-ground initiative, the Organization represents the entity running or funding it.
Key Functions of an Organization Profile
Project Portfolio: It serves as an umbrella that aggregates all the individual projects an organization manages or supports into one list or map view.
Transparency & Verification: It provides the legal and contact details of the entity, which helps build trust with donors and investors.
Team Management: It allows you to manage team members who need access to edit your projects.
Networking: It allows you to be listed as a "Partner" or "Collaborator" on other projects. For example, if you are a project developer, you create an Organization profile to be tagged on the projects you develop.
