What is explorer.land's pricing model?

explorer.land is priced per project, per month. Each project you run on the platform requires its own plan. You choose the plan that fits the size and complexity of your work, and you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

All plans include the core Map, Monitor, and Report capabilities. You scale up when you need more projects, users, sites, or advanced features.

There are no set-up costs for standard plans.

The four plans

Free — €0, forever For individuals and small teams getting started. Includes: 1 project, 1 site or polygon, 2 project editors, interactive map, SDGs, geo-located news posts, partner listing, mobile app, and basic map embedding.

Starter — €49/project/month (or €34/month billed annually — 30% off) For small and growing teams. Includes everything in Free, plus: up to 10 sites, 5 project editors, funding opportunity listing, viewer statistics, high-resolution satellite imagery, goods sales module, landscape projects view, and regular support. 14-day free trial available.

Professional — €99/project/month (or €69/month billed annually — 30% off) For established teams. Includes everything in Starter, plus: unlimited sites, unlimited editors, custom onboarding, video training, priority support, and geodata import included. 14-day free trial available.

Enterprise — custom pricing For large programmes and organisations with complex needs. Includes everything in Professional, plus: API integrations, custom data layers, custom embedded maps, geoanalytics, monitoring, GIS migration, and dedicated account management. Contact the team for a quote.

Annual billing saves 30%

Switching to annual billing reduces Starter from €49 to €34/month, and Professional from €99 to €69/month. Both are charged as a single upfront annual payment.
